No gimmicks, no hidden fees, 2. What do you do with information such as email addresses and phone numbers? Nothing! No, this website is a tribute alumni website that is solely owned, operated, and maintained by Michael D. Jones. Communication with Phelps High School occurs on a regular basis to ensure that the website is displayed in a professional and respectful manner. I take great pride in welcoming faculty and staff suggestions and/or wishes concerning this website. 4. I'm trying to find an old classmate, what is the best way to do that? The very best way is to post a message on our free message board in your class section. You should be specific in your message. Over 500 former Phelps grads talk daily on the Message Boards, so please take your time browsing your class section. If you've never used a message board before, please read our section with the Message Board Tutorial. (Coming Soon) 5. I've got some old pictures/books that would look good on this website, what can I do to get them on your website? The best way to start is by emailing me about what you have. I'm currently look for the following types of photos: Yearbooks, pictures of yourself and friends during school and school events, current photos of yourself, and pictures of your current family. If you'd like an example of how these photos will be displayed, please check out the Yearbook button for the Class of 1990.

Message Board Questions:
1. What do I have to do to post messages on the message board? You only have to register for a free account and your nickname. So that friends will know who you are, I suggest your first name followed by your graduation year. (ex. Mike90) Once you register, you will receive an e-mail from the system that must be opened and an internal link must be clicked to turn your account on. If you use Free Mail accounts like Yahoo, Hotmail, MSN, your verification e-mail "will" go to your spam or bulk box. It will not be in your Inbox, these programs view mail from the Phelps site as spam, you'll need to look for the email in you Spam/Bulk folder. 2. I've looked everywhere, I cannot find the e-mail telling me I have a message board account. You've not looked hard enough in all your email folders. The system DOES send you a verification email to click right after registration, but 90% of the time it ends up in your Spam or Bulk box. If you've checked all the folders in your e-mail account and still cannot find the verification email, please e-mail me for manual approval. 3. I've clicked on a few classmates names and noticed they have listed info about themselves, how do I do that? First, you need to be registered and logged into your nickname. If logged in properly, you'll see a Welcome "Your Name" in the top left corner of the message board. To update your profile, look for a link called "MY CONTROLS." You can update your profile in this section. You can also upload a current picture of yourself in the same control panel. 4. I'm not too sure I want to tell so much about myself on the Internet. Only reply with what you feel comfortable. Nobody forces you to have communication with former friends. I've been doing message boards on the Internet since 1994, and I've yet to have the boogey man knock on my door because I've always been open about sharing about myself on a message board. I decided to come out of the bomb shelters years ago. ;-)
